004 -797
$7.99
¼” NPT to 3/8 O-ring
This adapter has ¼” npt male on the one side and 3/8” o-ring on the other. 3/8” o-ring is your standard scuba hose end for first stages. This end will allow you to convert a regular air hose to scuba hose so you can hook your scuba hose onto a personal low-pressure compressor or to make a hookah reg (explained below).
012 - 980
$11.99
¼” NPT to Second Stage Fitting
This adapter has ¼” npt male on the one side and a second stage fitting on the other. The second stage end is the same as your scuba regulator second stage (unless you have a Poseidon Regulator). With this adapter you can take your scuba regulator hose and make it ¼ npt. This allows you to use standard scuba hoses for specialty applications such as rebreathers, wet subs or my favorite tinkering!!!
012 - 009
$9.99
¼” NPT FEMALE to 3/8 O-ring
This adapter has ¼” npt male on the one side and 3/8” o-ring on the other. This 3/8” o-ring on this one is the same as your scuba regulator. This allows you to screw this into your scuba regulator and take full advantage of any ¼” npt accessory. This adapter will allow you to make a long hose for hookah; a cleanout for your sprinklers; you name it. Better yet, as I said earlier, convert it to quick connect and make a million different adapters.

SAFETY NOTE Important: Read Below; Do Not Skip This
Ok, I pretty much spelled out above that this is important. You MUST use an overpressure relief valve on the first stage whenever you are not going to have a second stage on it. This is required for one important reason: if your first stage has a high pressure seat failure, whatever is hooked down stream will see full pressure (AKA 3000psi on a 150psi fitting). If this happens the low pressure item will fail, you will get hurt. Low pressure brass flying around is not a fun way to end a day so please put an overpressure relief on your system, they are low profile and cheap.
Over pressure Relief Valve Part #054 031 $14.99
How to make a fifty foot reg hose for cleaning the bottom of a boat and save yourself $150.00
Parts Needed:
012 009
004 797
50 foot Air Hose (available from Any Home Improvement Store)
¼” NPT Brass Coupler (available from Any Home Improvement Store)
Parts Total $50.00
This is a really easy thing to make and works great for cleaning under a boat or for emergency gas over the side of the boat at 15 feet. Start with your scuba first and second stage. The (012 009) adapter is screwed into your first stage. The air hose is then hooked to this with a female to female ¼” NPT Coupler. You then screw the (004 797) adapter into this and hook up the hose from your second stage and you are good to go.
Remember
1. You will have no pressure gauge so check often
2. The first stage is on the boat so there is no internal balancing of the reg. This means the deeper you go the harder it will be to breath so don’t go screwing around; use it for what it was intended and nothing more.
