Argon Transfilling

The argon tranfiller is used for moving
gas from a large storage cylinder to a small drysuit inflation tank.
This allows the homebrewer the option of taking argon gas from a
large storage cylinder and moving it to a smaller drysuit inflation
tank. Most home brewer use a 14 cubic foot tank at 2015psi. Though
this tank is a little larger than the standard 6 cubic foot tank
it allows the homebrewer more latitude in pressure versus volume.
We have a couple of different argon transfilling systems below.
Standard Transfiller
This is a handtight helium nipple/nut,
4,000psi gauge with a yoke filler. This unit is compact and comes
with screw bleeder. The only downside is that you must hold the
tank while you are filling it.

Deluxe Transfiller
This Argon Transfiller comes with a
handtight nipple/nut, 4,000 psi gauge, two foot stainless steel
Teflon cored hose and a din filler with push button bleeder. This
unit allows the home brewer a little more latitude in that there
is a flexible whip.
