Part #999 002
This is the Deluxe Oxygen Whip. From the Oxygen bottle we
have a handtight nipple and nut (no wrench needed saves
time) from there we go to a high pressure tee with storage
tank content gauge so you can see what is in the storage
bottle. This then leads into a needle valve and another
high pressure tee with digital gauge. From there we go a
6 foot Teflon cored, stainless steel whip. These have a
working pressure of 3,000 psi and a blow pressure of 12,000
psi. To finish the whip off we have a din filler with push
button bleeder. We also throw in the helium/argon to O2
adapter so that you can hook your whip up to a inert gas
bottle.
Why do I need a Digital Gauge?
Digital Gauge reasoning...
Digital gauges are really necessary to do proper mixing
of nitrox and trimix gases. The Gauges allow within a psi
accuracy across the full range. If you mix with an analog
gauge your accuracy rate falls to about 10 psi prior to
filling and 10 psi after filling. This might not seem like
a big deal until you analyze your mix. If you started with
a nitrox or trimix mix half full and are topping off what
happens is that you can be off by a large percent due to
the inaccuracy of the gauge. With the price of digital gauges
down to such a reasonable price of $299.99 it does not make
sense not to go this route.
